Ancient Egyptian processions depicted on temple wall carvings, papyrus and tomb paintings show women playing frame drum and sistrum/systrum. Utilizing & demonstrating hypnotic Egyptian rhythms on the frame drum, we’ll also explore technique and adapting these rhythms to the Systrum. Handouts included.
