My lesson plan for the Fall includes sharing finger cymbal technique to the popular Arabic melody Ya Ayn Mulayiitayn ala the recording titled Shashkin by Omar Faruk Tekbilek fm his CD Mystical Garden. (Şaşkın (Turkish) translates as “dazed” or “bewildered”). I am super excited to share the thrill of the zill*❣️

*PLEASE NOTE: This is a beginner-friendly class welcoming newcomers as well as ‘seasoned pros’ to the Tahya Technique.

This class in an immersion into delicious combinations integrating the essentials of belly dance fused with a variety of movements from circle dances and sacred dance arts dating back to the days when the transmission of the Art of Being Feminine was revealed through ancient Dance of the Goddesses and was traditionally handed down from one from one generation to the next, grandmother to granddaughter.
